Candidates should have a master’s degree in engineering or a similar degree with an academic level equivalent to the master’s degree. Experience with wind energy or offshore engineering, as well as good communication skills are considered advantageous for obtaining the position.

Scholarship Description: The Wind Energy Division at Risø DTU has a vacancy for a highly motivated PhD student in the “Wind Turbine Structuresresearch programme (VIM). VIM has 14 employees working with structural design of wind turbine components, loads and safety, blade design and composites. The research aims at implementation in the industry in both short and long term, and is performed in collaboration with the industry, as well as other Danish and foreign research institutions.
