Scholarship Description: The Leo Baeck Institute London is pleased to offer a 3-year John A. S. Grenville studentship for an outstanding doctoral candidate wishing to pursue a research project in the field of German Jewish history and culture with a focus on the late 19th and 20thcenturies. Applications are invited from current and prospective graduates with an excellent academic track record. The studentship is named after John A. S. Grenville (1928-2011), an eminent scholar of modern world history and German Jewish history. The studentship amounts to £24,000 per year, from which tuition fees (£3,732 in 2011/12 for Home/EU students, £11,450 in 2011/12 for non-EU students),mustbe paid.
